THE SOUTH, SOUTHWEST AND

TEXAS SEASON SALT

A coarse, chunky seasoning exceptional as a marinade, in sauces, stews, chilies, large cuts of meat for roasting, smoking or BBQ.

INGREDIENTS:  Toasted onion and garlic, kosher salt, dehydrated red and green bell pepper, paprika, dried tomato, crushed red pepper, cracked black pepper, New Mexico and California chili pods.

  DESERT BLOSSOM FAJITA SPICE

A coarse textured blend with explosive flavor when reconstituted in marinades.  Our Fajita Spice is zesty but not hot to add that southwestern flare to your home-cooking.    MEDIUM HOT

INGREDIENTS:  Dehydrated red and green bell peppers, New Mexico and mild California red chilies, lemon, orange, oregano, salt, cumin, toasted garlic, paprika, annatto, other herbs and spices.

    COWBOY ADOBO BLEND   

Cowboy Adobo is an all-purpose seasoning with southwestern, Mexican, Texas and Puerto Rican influences in its flavor profile.  Not hot and spicy, just flavorful, sharp and piquant.  Good for rice dishes, fried potatoes, chicken, fried tortilla chips, seasoning grated cheeses for tacos or pizza or nachos and excellent on batter-crisped fish.    MILD

INGREDIENTS:  Thyme, marjoram, basil, oregano, white and black pepper, salt, lemon, cumin, garlic, onion and other spices.

  ANCHO ANCHO
FIESTA SEASONING

A rich, deeply fragrant blend excellent for pot roasting or braising pork and beef, fantastic used as a marinade rub for BBQ grilled steaks, chops or hamburgers.  Rubbed onto spareribs, marinated overnight, then slow BBQ grilled  --  Madre Mia!!   Makes excellent chili, sauces and dips also.               MILD TO MEDIUM  HOT

INGREDIENTS:  Ancho chili, cumin, coriander, sugar, salt, garlic, onion, herbs and spices.  Contains caramel.

      OWL-IN-A-CACTUS BRAND    
 QUESADILLA SEASONING

                                 

This delectable blend has a delightful fragrant aroma undertoned with fruity, dried tomato and quajillo chilies.  Delicious mixed with shredded cheeses or cream cheese/sour cream mixture used to spread onto corn or flour tortillas before dry pan-grilling or frying.  Use in any number of different quesadilla fillings, soups, sauces, dips, etc.       MILD

INGREDIENTS:  Sun-dried tomato, guajillo chilies, anise, thyme, cinnamon, toasted garlic, tumeric, paprika, white pepper, coriander, salt.

ARIZONA STEAK RUB

This most unusual rub gets it's distinction from the vibrant cascabel chili.  A different southwestern flavor for grilled chicken breasts, grilled turkey, breast medallions, jumbo shrimp, beef steaks or pork choices.  Rub on and marinate;  you're ready to grill.

INGREDIENTS:  Cascabel chilies, lemon, garlic, onion, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, savory, cumin, clove, coriander and other spices.

     CHILI ROJO AND TACO MEAT SEASONING   

Our Chili Rojo blend is a deeply-flavored mixture with endless uses in marinades, sauces, fried, boiled, braised, roasted or grilled meats and, of course, rich taco meat.  Fragrant and bold, we've utilized seeded dried chilies which come to life when rehydrated.         MILD

INGREDIENTS:  Guajillo, pasilla, ancho and New Mexico chilies, toasted corn tortilla, annatto, sesame, oregano, cumin, coriander, salt, onion and beef extracts.

Receive a full strike of spicy flavor with this blend of blends.  Use in your favorite chili recipe, nachos, braised beef or pork, grilled chicken breast, taco meat, sauces, or spiced-up grated cheese blends.     HOT

INGREDIENTS:  Tomato, ancho chili, guajillo chili, cayenne pepper, cumin, lemon, garlic, onion, oregano, thyme, basil, marjoram, other herbs and salt.

        MEXICALI BBQ RUB              

An ideal seasoning for wild game such as quail, rabbit, venison or grouse.  In the pan or on the grill, this complex blend combines eight varieties of seeded, dehydrated chilies to enhance your meat choice with a richness reflecting south central Mexico.          HOT

INGREDIENTS:  Pulla, guajillo, New Mexico, ancho, pasilla, California red, arbol and red bell peppers, salt, orange, cumin, coriander, anise, cloves, bay laurel, cinnamon, oregano, cayenne and other herbs and spices.
